Lisbon roadshow and replication workshop

A follow-up visit to Marvila

From 25th September 2019 to 27th September 2019

The ROCK project is blending cultural heritage, citizens and digital technologies. The Lisbon roadshow (25 September) is designed to have an overview of some innovations in cultural heritage created in Lisbon and have a preview of some samples of the ongoing projects, told by the creators themselves. The objective is to collect feedback, ideas and suggestions from the participants to improve services with a view to bringing them closer to the real needs of the user.

On 26-27 September, the ROCK team is organising a replication and co-creation workshop in Marvila. Objectives of these two days are to:

  • Learn from the experience and lessons from Lisbon innovative working methods in Marvila, notably the Interpretive Centre;
  • Identify success factors that can help the transferability, scalability or replication of the innovative approach to other urban contexts;
  • Discuss challenges and obstacles in the implementation process and how to overcome them;
  • Formulate more effective and efficient responses to a critical challenge in Lisbon, in a collaborative learning process with inputs from different cities.

ROCK cities, ROCK partners and three EUROCITIES members (selected via a call for participation) are invited to attend this event. The agenda is available to download.
