Walk & Talk to discover Marvila

Walking workshops in the Marvila territory

The 'Walk & Talk' activity, developed by ICSUL team since the beginning of the ROCK project, has been an important moment of shared discovery of the Marvila territory with national and international students, artists, activists and inhabitants themselves. In this 2-hour walk, topics such as tangible and intangible cultural heritage, urban voids and expectant spaces, the visions on the territory in the last century and urban regeneration are explored.

In the last year, more than 200 people have taken part of this moving workshop. The list of participants  included an MA class of the Royal College of Art (London), highschool students of the programme 'ULisboa Summer University', members of the European Network of Movements for Housing, MA students from the Temple University (Rome), students from the local ARCO art school, BA and MA students from diverse Architecture universities from Istambul and MA students from the Henley Business School, University of Reading.
