Eindhoven University of Technology, Information Systems in the Built Environment Group, has developed an interactive cultural heritage map of the Strijp-S district in Eindhoven. This map will become a digital multimedia resource helping to explore the cultural heritage of Strijp-S. Strijp-S is one of the industrial heritage transformation and living lab Role Models of the ROCK project.
In this web application, you can find texts, photos, videos, 3D models and VR panoramas for every object of tangiable cultural heritage in Strijp-S. In addition, via enabling people to add their stories, photos and videos, the map will become a living database of the tangible and intangible heritage of Strijp-S.
The website will be launched at the end of 2020 by PhD student Benshou Wang and supervisors Dr. Gamze Dane and Prof. Dr. Bauke de Vries.
