Creative Quarter Lohberg

A regeneration area on the site of a former coal mine : 'a place for a creative approach to energy'

The site includes

• A renewable energy and energy efficiency programme and carbon neutral ambition
• A range of artist spaces, programming and activities telling the story of the industrial past and a more sustainable present and future 
• A 'Kraftwerk' / power station conceived of by an artist duo and created using reclaimed materials and which is now a centre for exhibitions etc.
